My name is Glen Minehart, I live on the east coast of Florida between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine, in the relatively new city of Palm Coast. I started building my first Stalker in November of 2006, the second in June of 2007. My son, Scott, builds the chassis and other fabrication for the Brunton Stalker. He is also an excellent autocrosser, and has several FTD’s as well as Fastest Time Pax, competing with some of the nation’s top drivers. He also trophied at the SCCA Nationals in Topeka in September, 2007. My mission is to spread the joy, which is owning and driving a Stalker. Most Stalker owners have built their own cars, but there is no reason why someone that doesn’t want to, can’t have their own. I build to the Brunton specification. We know the car is awesome, right out of the box. It will outperform stock sports cars costing $100,000 more. It draws more attention, too.

I have had a long career as a custom home builder, designing and building high end homes. I am as careful about the construction and assembly of the Stalker as I am about the houses I build. Both give me a great sense of pride and satisfaction. My passion, however, is with the Stalker, which has the added benefit of adrenaline!

The Stalker can be built in a garage by a confident "car guy," with ordinary tools, that most of us have, or have access to. No welding is required unless non-standard modifications are made. Dennis Brunton says most builders spend between 300 to 400 hours on their Stalkers. Some builders have completed their cars in three months......some in 4 years! It all depends on how much time you have available, and your skill and confidence level. What if you don't have a lot of time, or don't have the confidence to tackle a job like this? Or maybe you don't have the garage space. Whatever the reason - You have options!

Turnkey or Co-op Build

This is where I may be able to help. I live on the east coast of Florida, and can pick up your Stalker kit from Brunton Auto, which is located in Bradenton, Florida, near Tampa. I can build a turnkey Stalker for you, or to the level you desire. It can be delivered painted or unpainted. Ready to roll or ready for your fininshing touches. You can pick all the options you like from the wheels to the Guages. Unless you want custom made parts or additional finish work done, it should take about 8 weeks to build your car.

If you want to have a hand in your Stalker build, I can offer a Co-op build. The advantages to this are many. The satisfaction that comes from being a part of building this car is immense. You also get to know the details of how it is built, how to make adjustments for ride, handling, how to service it. None of this is difficult or intimidating when you know the car, inside and out. Besides, building a high performance car like this is FUN!! Especially if you can get in built quickly. Spending many months, or years building one of these cars, eventually, will give you a great sense of satisfaction. Just not as much as getting one in a few months.

Either way you go about it. You will be extremely happy with your car without it turning into that project in the garage that never gets completed. You're spouse will be happy riding around town instead of wishing it wasn't in pieces in the garage.
